2010Thailand vacation
After the hot and dry Egypt we wanted to feel some tropical climate in a more relaxed atmosphere.

The definite choice was Thailand.
Summary
Logistics: Phuket island, Ko Tapu island, Phang Nga
Dates: Dec 5 – Dec 13, 2009
Transport used: Plane, shuttle bus, scooter, ship, elephant
Lodging: Naithonburi Beach Resort Phuket (Phuket)
Memories: Sunsets, tropical nature, hospitality of natives, unforgettable thai food and massage
The beginning of December is the end of the rainy season in Thailand. That means affordable prices for tours and not much visitors.
We have chosen Nai Thon beach located in the North-Western part of the island as a place for stay. It is a beautiful stretch of sand that, for reasons unknown, has been overlooked by large resort developers. Thus it’s an ideal spot to get away from the crowds and enjoy a quiet swim. The sea is flat, calm and crystal clear, beach restaurants appear where you can dine with your bare feet in the sand, very much a tropical paradise.
In this trip we used scooter a lot – we rode around Phuket, watched spectacular sunset at the southmost part of the island, been on a crocodile farm and a lot of other places.
